First Aid qualifications from Swan Training Group

These courses are aimed at employees who wish to undertake such training for their own vocational progression and also to allow the employer to meet the requirement of health and safety regulations.

Courses Available:

• Emergency First Aid : (Up to 10 delegates) - 6 hour course £50 ex Vat per Person
• Paediatric First Aid : (Up to 10 delegates) - 6 hour course
• First Aid at Work Initial : (Up to 10 delegates) - 3 day course £150 ex Vat per Person
• First Aid at Work Requal : (Up to 10 delegates) - 2 day course £110 ex Vat per Person
• *Automated External Defibrillator : (Up to 10 delegates) - 4 hour course

*if all the delegates for the AED course do not hold a current First Aid Certificate with at least 12 months validity, it will need to be extended to 6 hours, so that the lifesaving skills element can be covered in more depth.

• Casualty Communication and Care
• Primary Survey
• Dealing with the unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation of adults and young people
• Recognition and Treatment of;-
  • Chest pains
  • Choking
  • Asthma
  • Shock
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Poisons, bites and stings
  • Electric shock
  • Fainting
  • Bone and Soft tissue injuries

Each candidate will receive a First Aid handbook (whilst stocks last) and a certificate valid for three years. An A4 display certificate is provided for the company or organisation.
